Lumière Charity Gala
This Annual Brookstreet Event began as the Grand Opening event for Brookstreet Hotel in June of 2003. Based on the success of this unique and unforgettable event, Brookstreet's Chairman, Terry Matthews, decided that Lumière should take place every year. The focus of this event would be to raise funds for worthwhile charitable organizations.
Local Community Benefits from TV Upgrades
In the Spring of 2011 Bruce House, a local social service agency offering housing and support to persons living
with HIV illness, acquired 6 television sets through the City of Ottawa, Housing Services Branch. Upon
inquiring, our contact there informed us that the larger donation came from Brookstreet. Our sincere
thanks to you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
